DLP HD Sponsor of ESPN and Fox Picture Cam

Texas Instruments today
announced that DLP HDTV is the high-definition (HD) television sponsor for all
Monday Night Football games on ESPN at the same time leveraging sponsorship
assets that promote DLP HDTV on FOX’s NFL coverage and the network’s Tostitos
Bowl Championship Series (BCS) broadcast in 2007.
The BCS determines the
participants in the nation’s most renowned college football bowl games,
culminating with the BCS National Championship Game to be held in Phoenix in
2007. The new DLP HDTV advertising campaign “It’s amazing. It’s the
mirrors.” will run during regular season NFL games on both networks in 2006
and post-season NFL play and the 2007 BCS on FOX.

The FOX agreement includes DLP HDTV’s exclusive sponsorship of the
Ultimate HD Picture Cam, giving fans the best view on the field with unique
angles to the action. Starting Week 10 of the NFL on FOX season, DLP HDTV
will be presenting sponsor for the “DLP Playoff Picture” giving FOX viewers a
clear “picture” of teams’ postseason possibilities.
“As the exclusive sponsor for the HD Ultimate Picture Cam on FOX this
season, DLP technology is putting NFL fans right on the field,” said Troy
Aikman, NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback and FOX Sports announcer. “Fox is
committed to providing the most engaging and realistic football viewing
experience, and DLP HDTVs deliver an amazing high-definition picture that’s
ideal for watching fast-action sports.”

“DLP HDTV continues to be a leading display option for football fans and
consumers who recognize the speed advantage of DLP technology, and want the
best HD picture for their living rooms,” said Doug Darrow, Brand & Marketing
Manager, TI DLP Products. “ESPN and FOX are great partners to showcase DLP
HDTV since football audiences are driving national interest in HD programming
and adoption.”

The ESPN agreement includes online, print and in-studio promotions to
present DLP HDTV as the best HD display technology for sports.
