ClipBlast search engine for video content

By Andrew Lippe

ClipBlast! is an efficient search engine that enables users
to get their hands on video content from all news media outlets and sports providers. The website allows free access to video clips from the NFL, MLB and
numerous others with up to the minute downloads produced in quality standard or
high definition resolution all in real-time. In 2006 they have expanded to
improve their personal preferences section as well as improve the content providers
database. ClipBlast! was showcased at the fall 2006 Video on the Net
conference.

Our primary focus is not only to be a video search tool but
to support the thousands of content providers, said Gary Baker founder and Ceo
of Clipblast. ClipBlast! helps provide content owners and advertisers by
targeting video users. Providers who submit video content to the site knows
their videos will stay intact.

Their newest addition due to be released soon is an improved
database that will help content owners find the videos they want quickly and
efficiently. It saves hours of search time that many do not have especially on
a busy workday. Our search bar can also
go on any website, Baker said. Clip
Blast s unique toolbar can be added to corporate web sites and blogs, by pasting
the HTML code.

ClipBlast’s technology gives users the ability to search for
video clips from across the entire web. Today, users must search for video
within a specific site. Clipblast! has a personal preferences section so users
can get the clips they want, Baker said. In the My Clipblast! section you can
specify preferred teams and request video in advance. Anytime a player homers
or a touchdown is scored the real-time live video guide continuously updates to
give web users immediate access to unlimited and relevant video clips. Clipblast
searches all providers including ESPN and the now popular YouTube.

Viewing Video on the internet is an extremely popular
phenomenon. Clipblast meets that demand, Baker said.
