CFL taps STATS

The Canadian Football League (CFL) has signed a deal with STATS LLC that makes STATS LLC to be the league s exclusive third-party data licensing partner.

STATS will have worldwide rights to market, license and distribute CFL data and real-time scoring. The sports information leader will provide CFL play-by-play and in-game box-score feeds in addition to providing leader boards, roster updates, standings and real-time updates from across the league.

Through our transition to fully integrated online statistics and now with our partnership with STATS, we continue to enhance and expand the delivery of CFL statistics in real-time, said Chris McCracken, Vice President of Broadcasting and Media Assets for the CFL. Meeting our fans demand for real-time information is a top priority and utilizing STATS expertise will ensure the needs of our growing fan base are met and exceeded.
