XOS Technologies, Inc., announced the official launch of UltraFan, a new online social networking community specifically geared toward sports fans.

XOS developed the online community to inspire team fervor while simultaneously bridging the communication gap between worldwide sports fans. The result has lead to a steadily growing community of united sports fanatics, the fostering of friendly rivalry and a whole new generation of cyber sports fans who extend spirit into their personal online realms.
The goal with UltraFan has always been to provide a total-package experience for fans, said Nada Usina, president, XOS Network. And right now we re in the heart of football season, with basketball and hockey just warming up, so this site couldn t have arrived at a more perfect time for fired-up sports fans.
As a highly customized online network, UltraFans can deck out their profiles with their favorite team colors and logos. By visiting, fans can ceate a free personal profiles, post video files, post tailgate pictures, blog about favorite player, post bulletins about the latest game, send messages and network with fellow fans, and rate other fans profiles.
Along with blogging, UltraFan boasts superior video capabilities, so the community maintains balance and captures the best of both worlds, Usina said. As a result, it empowers fans to express themselves in a variety of ways and to interact through a more satisfying means.
UltraFan users also have access to right from the UltraFan log-in page. College Sports Direct launched earlier this fall and includes a sports Web guide that enables fans to search for live and on-demand sporting event streams from across the country, allowing for an even more personalized experience.
As it moves forward, XOS plans to offer the UltraFan capabilities to its more than 150 partner Web sites to provide greater content and sharing opportunities for UltraFan users and to boost brand awareness for its partner athletic programs. We d like to show how social networks and brand partners can live together to benefit both the partner and the fan, Usina said. UltraFan is in and of itself a very unique opportunity for our partners to drive traffic to their official athletics sites and right now only XOS can offer it to leagues and teams.
