Fraleigh, LaBerge promoted at ESPN tech department

ESPN has promoted two in its technical operations. Carol Fraleigh

has been promoted to senior vice president, Technology Operations. In
this role, Fraleigh will lead change management associated with the
inevitable evolution of the Technology division as well as oversee
program and project management, budgets, customer and business partner
relations, and our leadership and learning initiatives. Most recently, Fraleigh was vice president, ESPN
Commercial Operations. She joined ESPN in April 1990 as coordinator,
Commercial Operations.

In addition Aaron LaBerge

has been promoted to senior vice president, Technology and Product
Development. In this role, LaBerge will oversee product development
for ESPN’s consumer-facing new media products, on-air production
software development, and the production data group supporting all ESPN
media. Most recently, LaBerge was vice president of
Technology and Business Operations for ESPN New Media, overseeing
product development and running ESPN.com’s Fantasy Games and Insider
businesses. He joined Disney in June 1997 as a software engineer.
