TradeCentre 07 on TSN provides NHL deadline coverage

Hockey fans no longer have to play hooky from work on NHL Trade Deadline Day, as TSN’s eight-hour show,
TradeCentre 07, will be available live – in homes and offices – on both TSN and TSN
Broadband at www.TSN.ca on

Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The show will also be televised on NHL Network.

Fans who watch on TSN Broadband won’t miss any of the action, as TSN’s television coverage will be streamed online in its entirety for eight consecutive hours – including interviews with players/coaches, analysis, reaction and commentary.
TradeCentre’s availability on TSN Broadband is another example of how TSN is enhancing the viewers’ ability to access key daytime sports programming at their convenience, as was the case recently with the highly successful World Juniors.

TSN’s wall-to-wall
TradeCentre 07 coverage includes a team of 20 Insiders, analysts, former NHL players and coaches, reporters and correspondents who will provide breaking news and instant analysis of each transaction.

James Duthie hosts the event coverage from the NHL on TSN studio, while Gord Miller and TSN Hockey Insiders Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger work the phones to bring fans the most up-to-date information on NHL trades. Pierre McGuire and Glenn Healy are joined by former NHL coach and GM Mike Keenan on the ‘Instant Analysis’ panel, where the trio will break down each transaction, offering their expert insight and opinions on declaring the day’s winners and losers. TSN contributors Keith Jones and Darren Pang will frequently join the panel via satellite to provide additional analysis. Duthie will also conduct live interviews with players, coaches and GMs from around the league, ensuring TSN provides hockey fans with the most comprehensive access to instant reaction from the deal makers and players involved.

Darren Dutchyshen will present a
TradeCentre 07 recap every hour and will also host a segment with McGuire called ‘Players in Play’, which highlights players who are still available and most likely to be traded.

Dave Hodge will be joined in-studio by the entire panel from his Sunday morning show,
TSN The Reporters With Dave Hodge (Steve Simmons, Damien Cox and Michael Farber), all of whom will provide additional opinions and analysis throughout the day.

TSN will have correspondents with each Canadian team to file live reports.
TradeCentre 07 also features a tribute to Mark Messier – one of hockey’s all-time great leaders – whose No. 11 is being retired by the Oilers in

Edmonton that evening.

Immediately following
TradeCentre 07, TSN presents a special one-hour edition of
SportsCentre with Rod Smith from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, re-capping all of the day’s events with timely reaction from around the league. At 7 p.m. ET, Gino Reda provides additional analysis, reaction and player interviews on Molson
That’s Hockey. The reports and commentary will be available on-demand on TSN Broadband
.

TSN.ca once again presents its popular
Real Time Trade Tracker, which offers fans updates on all trades as they happen, right on their desktops without having to reload the Internet page. The tracker will also offer live streaming audio of
TradeCentre 07 for those who are unable to access live coverage on TSN Broadband. TSN’s Jay Onrait provides
his perspective from the couch with his second annual Deadline Day blog, which will be updated frequently on TSN.ca. Users can also receive breaking trades on their mobile device by subscribing to the TYLENOL Rapid Release Rapid Alert at
www.tsn.ca/Tylenol/
.
Viewers can also get instant trade updates throughout the day via

TSN BottomLine
