Orad connects with NLE plugin

Orad Hi-Tec Systems will unveil its NLE plugin at NAB 2007. The NLE plugin enables the insertion of 2D and 3D graphic templates, produced by Orad’s Maestro on-air graphics solution, into a story edited by an NLE system.

Orad’s NLE plugin enables broadcasters to use the same graphic templates in both real-time and post production environments, thereby providing a unified look and more efficient workflow.

Orad’s solution consists of an Active X plugin to the NLE system. It enables the editor to access all existing templates, populate them with data, assign animation, and through its easy to use interface, drag and drop the templates into the time line of the edited story.
