DNF Controls appoints Quinn Southeast field technical sales rep

DNF Controls has appointed broadcast industry veteran William M. (Mike) Quinn to the role of Southeast field technical sales representative, a position in which he is responsible for providing sales and support services while building relationships with new and existing DNF Controls clients. Quinn’s territory includes Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.

“Through a deep involvement in the industry over many years, Mike has a unique understanding of the practical challenges facing today’s broadcasters,” said DNF Controls Vice President of Sales John Duggin. “Mike’s proven ability to work with broadcast and staging installations, and implement effective solutions for their operations, will be very valuable to our growing Southeast business. We’re very pleased to welcome him to the company.”

Prior to joining DNF Controls, Quinn most recently served as senior sales consultant for premier systems integrator Digital System Technology. He earlier served as Southeast regional sales manager at Philips Broadcast Television Systems. Quinn received his early training and education in electronics at Cape Fear Technical Institute and in the United States Air Force, and he later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering technology.

Quinn is very active in the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and has served the society for nearly three decades. He is currently chairman of the Nashville, Tenn. section of the society. Quinn is based in Nashville and will report to John Duggin.
