Buffalo Sabres House Party a Hit despite loss to Ottawa

Almost everything was the same.

Pom poms
were handed out. Sabretooth, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Doug Allen were all there
to help kick off Monday night’s game. Music and the kiss cam were played during
media timeouts. And Sabres studio hosts Kevin Sylvester and Mike Robitaille
were there for the intermission reports.

The only thing that was missing was the live
action on the ice. But that didn’t stop over 8,500 crazed Sabres fans from
showing up at HSBC Arena to watch the Sabres play the Senators in

Ottawa for Game 3.

The Sabres hosted their first “House
Party” of the post-season where fans could come to the arena and watch the
team play on the road, on two 12′ by 9′ video monitors as well as the
Jumbotron.
