next Thursday, June 7, at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT with the U.S. Men’s
National Team battling
Guatemala
at the
Home
Depot
Center in
Carson,
California.
Fox Soccer
Channel will also feature the
United States’
early-round matches vs.
Trinidad and Tobago
on Saturday, June 9, and against
El Salvador on Tuesday, June 12.
Additional live coverage includes one match from each of the knockout stages,
culminating with the finals on Sunday, June 24 in
Chicago. Fox Soccer Channel’s announcing team
will be led by play-by-play analyst Max Bretos, with color commentary from
former U.S. National Team star Christopher Sullivan. All telecasts will begin
with a live, half-hour Gold Cup Pre-Game show hosted by Christian Miles.

United States,
the 12-team CONCACAF Gold Cup 2007 brings together top squads from North
America, Central America and the Caribbean including
Mexico
and
Costa Rica,
which joined the U.S. Men in last year’s World Cup. Standouts Landon Donovan
and DaMarcus Beasley will lead the
USA
in defense of its 2005 Gold Cup crown; the
U.S. also won titles in 1991 and
2002.
