Penn State football fans may be in dark

York-Area Penn

State

football fans who subscribe to
Comcast cable may not be able to watch all of the Nittany Lions games on
television this fall.

Penn

State

announced yesterday that the
soon-to-be-launched Big Ten Network will exclusively telecast at least three
PSU games this fall.

Comcast,
which is the major cable provider in the York area, and the Big Ten Network
have not yet worked out a deal to carry the new network. In fact, financial
negotiations between Comcast and the Big Ten Network appear to be at a stalemate,
according to a recent news report in the New York Times.
