Fujinon announces successful launch of new website

Fujinon
announces the successful launch of its new website, www.fujinon.com. The site
boasts state-of-the-art technology and interactive features that enhance
visitors’ online experience. Fujinon worked with SGW Integrated Marketing
Communications, based in

Montville,

New Jersey, to build a website
that would incorporate Fujifilm’s corporate branding images and satisfy the
needs of industry professionals, Fujinon dealers and its internal sales force.

Visitors
will find an extremely user-friendly design upon entering the website.
“Potential customers can now easily determine the advantages each lens model
offers at a glance,” explained Dave Waddell, Fujinon Marketing Manager. “We’re
very pleased with the way that the user-friendly interface simplifies the
online experience for them.”

Fujinon’s
new website incorporates the use of video to highlight certain products and
technologies. “In my mind, this feature sets Fujinon’s website apart from its
competition,” said Kris Scelba, Account Executive, of SGW. Scelba served as
project manager, overseeing every aspect of Fujinon’s website rebuild and
launch.

Visitors
to the site who may be unfamiliar with the camera and lens industry can access
technology information such as “Focus Breathing Compensation” through the
“Fujinon Technologies” link. Users can mouse over the video icon located in the
bottom right corner of each technology and view a brief technology
demonstration. Proprietary technologies, including “AT2 Aspheric Technology,”
are highlighted and described plainly so that users can understand the
technological advantages Fujinon lenses offer over its competition and the
level of technology that goes into manufacturing each lens.

An added
search feature accepts broad search inquiries and displays relevant information
pertaining to current and discontinued products. A product quick find feature,
organized by primary and secondary categories as well as by product name, gives
users the option to search for product specifications quickly and easily.

Also
unique among the website’s elements is the brand new dealer intranet that provides
Fujinon dealers access to news and product announcements before they are
announced. Users can access privileged information on upcoming products, news
and product sales prices for all Fujinon lenses and accessories.

SGW built
a customized administrative interface that manages all product, and technology
information for the website. It allows authorized Fujinon employees to make
various changes to all editable fields listed on the website as needed in real
time.
