MultiDyne Names Robert McAlpine Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development

MultiDyne
Video and Fiber Optic Systems, a provider of Fiber Optics for the transport of
video and audio for broadcast applications, announced the appointment of
industry veteran Bob McAlpine to the role of vice president of global sales and
business development. McAlpine will be responsible for the continued
promotion and development of markets for MultiDyne products and applications
worldwide.

McAlpine
joins MultiDyne after 23 years as senior vice president of sales and marketing
for PESA Switching Systems, and most recently as vice president of sales and
marketing communications for QuStream Corporation, manufacturers of routing
switcher systems. McAlpine successfully assisted in obtaining sustained
sales growth and the highest level of bookings in QuStream’s history last year.

extensive experience in managing growth in multiple video markets, his
knowledge of industry applications, and established relationships within the
industry will be invaluable to our organization as we continue to expand our
operations worldwide,” said Jim Jachetta, MultiDyne’s senior vice

marketing communications for QuStream, Bob led a successful campaign to

Prior to
joining QuStream and PESA, McAlpine also held senior management and sales
positions at 3M Corporation, and as operations manager of the
