ISIS and Graham-Patten Present New Products at IBC 200 Focus on Support for the HD Transition
Story Highlights
The ISIS
Group, Inc. will display a variety of new products at the Argosy stand at IBC
2007 (Stand 10.455). Highlights of the
ISIS
offerings are products in support of the HD transition, and upgrades to the
popular INNOVATION routing switcher family. Argosy is the European Master
Distributor for ISIS and Graham-Patten products.
The HD-212
2×2 HD/SDI/ASI Protection Changeover Switch offers critical path protection for
network, transmitter inputs, or satellite and cable head end operations.
The HD-212 detects signal presence on both its ‘A’ and ‘B’ inputs, and
transfers to the offline input upon failure of the primary feed.
Two
Graham-Patten Systems SoundPals audio auto-sensing de-embedders, the ASDM-4 and
ASDM-8, offer a versatile way to ingest the various TV standards and de-embed
up to eight channels of analog or four AES/EBU pairs of audio. The units auto-sense
the video format (HD-SDI or SD-SDI) applied to the looping input. A
headphone output lets the user select and monitor stereo channels from any
group.
Version
2.0 of the graphical user interface (GUI) for the INNOVATION by
ISIS line of routing switchers adds customer-requested
features and improves usability. The GUI makes the INNOVATION line even
more flexible, with virtual control panels and on-screen, at-a-glance status of
every element of one or more routers under GUI control. Status
screens show the status of all levels for all outputs, allowing a depth of
monitoring not possible with a physical control panel.
The
INNOVATION Super Switch – an RGBHV switcher created specifically for multimedia
and presentation systems – now supports all formats from VGA (640×480) through
QSXGA (2560×2048) in 8×8 or 16×16 configurations. The redesigned switcher
uses the very latest crosspoint technology, extending the bandwidth and
slew-rate performance and allowing the use of the Super Switch with the most
demanding resolutions available. The Super Switch is rugged enough to
meet the requirements of mobile and military applications.
The
warranty period for the Graham-Patten Systems SoundPals line of digital audio
building blocks for professional audio engineers is now seven years, instead of
the previous warranty of one year. SoundPals are available for signal
processing, conversion, distribution, test, and de-embedding audio from digital
video.
