AT&T and USA Swimming Team Up to Bring Fans Front-Row Access to Beijing Events

AT&T
Inc. USA Swimming have announced an agreement to bring swimming fans anytime, anywhere
access to the sport as top competitors gear up for world competition next
August in

Beijing.
The sponsorship deal includes a series of content and activation programs.

Beginning now, visitors to AT&T blue room
Team USA (http://www.attblueroom.com/teamusa) can download a USA Swimming
Desktop Communicator, which includes an RSS news feed and is customizable to provide
users with breaking U.S. swimming news, weather information and details on
special promotions. The tool runs a countdown to the 2008 Olympic Games in

Beijing.

AT&T
also supported and provided on-site sponsorship of the ConocoPhillips USA
Swimming National Championships from July 31 through Aug. 4 at the IU
Natatorium in

Indianapolis.
Additional programs will be announced in coming months.

The
initiative builds on AT&T’s commitment to provide significant financial and
other support to USA Swimming and the U.S. Olympic Team. AT&T is the
Official Telecommunications Services Sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team for the
2008 Olympic Games.

and expertise can help swimming fans stay plugged in as the path to Beijing
unfolds in the coming year,” said Jason Simpson, director of Olympic
Integration, AT&T. “This is a key step for AT&T as we strengthen
our niche in delivering exclusive coverage of U.S. Olympic Team hopefuls to
consumers throughout the country.

of sports. Content will be archived on the site through the 2008 Olympic Games.
