Bonds’s record-tying 755th home run wasn’t seen by a whole lot of baseball
fans.
Saturday
night’s game on
U.S.
cable sports network ESPN2, which began after 10 p.m. EDT, received a 1.1
overnight cable rating, the network said yesterday. If that figure remains the
same when national ratings are released today, it would translate to about one
million households.
New York
Mets pitcher Tom Glavine drew a wider audience for his 300th win on Sunday
night. His victory over the Chicago Cubs, which started after 8 p.m. EDT,
received a 3.0 overnight cable rating, which would translate to 2.7 million
households.
The overnights
measure the largest television markets in the country.
