PGA Championship Coverage on TSN platforms begins Thursday

TSN offers
golf fans in

Canada
live coverage of all four rounds of golf’s final major of the season, the PGA
Championship, on multiple platforms including TSN, TSN HD and TSN Broadband,
from August 9 to 12. Rounds 1 and 2 get underway at 2 p.m. ET, while the
3rd and Final Rounds begin at 11 a.m. ET.

The PGA
Championship marks the second time TSN Broadband (www.TSN.ca) will provide live
streaming coverage of an entire golf major. This past June, TSN Broadband
presented wall-to-wall coverage of the U.S. Open, and in April, fans were able
to log onto TSN.ca for live coverage from Amen Corner at The Masters.
More recently, TSN Broadband carried live coverage of every shot from holes 16,
17 and 18 of last month’s British Open.

The PGA
Championship is known for having the toughest field of any of golf’s majors and
this year’s 89th edition is no different. This year’s tourney boasts a
number of the Top 10 golfers in the world: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie
Els, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia. Canadians Mike
Weir and Stephen Ames will also be in the hunt at Southern Hills Country Club

Woods, who
finished at -18 and won the event by five strokes last year, is looking to
become just the third golfer to win the PGA Championship on four occasions.
