AHL Toronto Marlies Announce 07-08 Tv Schedule

The
Toronto Marlies announced Thursday that their 20 game television schedule for
the upcoming season will begin with this Saturday’s season opening game versus
the Rochester Americans – AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres & Florida
Panthers – live at 4:30 p.m. The 20 game broadcast schedule represents 25% of
the team’s regular season schedule which will air live either on The Score or
on Leafs TV – the official station of Leafs Nation. Each network will air 10

“We
are thrilled to have the Marlies on television for 20 games this season,”

across the country will be exposed to the exciting brand of AHL hockey on the
Score while we’ll play a strong part in the continuing growth of our own
network on Leafs TV.”

The
Marlies’ third American Hockey League season in

Toronto begins this Saturday as the team
plays their first of 40 games at Ricoh Coliseum at

Exhibition Place. Hockey Night in

Canada
broadcast legend Don Cherry, a former AHL & NHL coach of the year, will be
