U.S.A.,
Inc., and the New York Islanders announced that Canon has signed a
three-year marketing and sponsorship agreement that renews the relationship
between the digital imaging leader and the Long Island-based National Hockey
League (NHL) team.

As part of
the new agreement, the Canon logo will be displayed for all Islander home games
on exclusive signage behind the home and visiting teams’ benches, and in the
ice. The Canon brand will also be highlighted in the Islanders’ game programs
and in the team’s annual yearbook.

“For
years, Canon has been a strong supporter of the Islanders,” said William Reed,
senior vice president and general manager, Corporate Communications, Canon

U.S.A., Inc. “We look forward to strengthening
our relationship with our

Long Island neighbor
– the Islanders – and to cheering them to victory this season.”

According
to Mike Bossy, executive director of the Islanders Business Club, “Adding an
industry leader with the enormous stature of Canon to our ‘roster’ of major
corporate partners is wonderful news for our franchise. Through joint marketing
initiatives, two very strong brands will only get stronger. The Islanders thank
Canon for this significant relationship.”

“Canon is
a corporate and civic leader who the New York Islanders are proud to work with
to build an even more vibrant

Long Island,”
said Chris Dey, senior vice president, Sales, Marketing and Operations, New York
Islanders. “Together we will make a very positive impact on our community.”
