ESPN360.com Inks Expanded Deal for Italian Serie A Soccer

ESPN360.com, the broadband sports
television network from ESPN, has reached a new, expanded agreement to
bring U.S. soccer fans another of the world’s top International soccer
competitions – Italy’s
Serie A (aka Serie A TIM). ESPN360.com will deliver eight matches per week, as many as 300 matches
per season, over the next two seasons. ESPN360.com and MP & Silva

LLC announced the agreement that provides exclusive U.S. broadband
rights and expands upon a deal last season that brought Serie A matches
to ESPN360.com for the first time.
“Serie A is one of the world’s top
soccer leagues and adds to a deep programming lineup of gloabal soccer
on ESPN360.com,” said Damon Phillips, vice president, ESPN360.com.
“Serie A has built a global fan-base of millions, and we look forward
to further connecting it to U.S. fans.”

MP & Silva, LLC. said, “We are delighted to expand Serie A in the
U.S. with ESPN. ESPN360.com is a network that ensures top-class

soccer fans with exclusive broadband coverage of Coppa Italia matches
through the 2010 season.
Serie A and Coppa Italia add to
ESPN360.com’s robust, and fast-growing, lineup of live broadband soccer
