Ratings Power Play for Comcast SportsNet Chicago

Comcast SportsNet Chicago is at it again: One night after setting the mark for the highest rating ever for a White Sox Opening Day telecast on a regional sports network, a 3.23 household rating, the network posted the highest Blackhawks final regular-season average in the history of Chicago regional sports television: a 1.26 household season average rating, or more than 44,000 households watching per game, marking a 100% increase over last season’s 0.63 final average.

The previous Blackhawks record was held by SportsChannel with its coverage of the 1996-97 season.
