Wegener’s MicroCasting, ShowShifting to Star at NAB

Wegener will use NAB to feature its MicroCasting programming model for national radio programmers and its ShowShifting feature of its file-based distribution solution for radio networks.

MicroCasting provides affiliate stations with customized content tailored to their individual markets. Its workflow is achieved through file-based broadcasting, advanced network control, satellite and terrestrial network connections, and automation-friendly receivers.

ShowShifting allows affiliates or network operators to control when individual programs will play out of networked iPump 6420 audio media servers.
