Telecast CopperHead Transceivers? WHYY Not?

Greater Philadelphia public-television station WHYY will use Telecast Fiber Systems’ CopperHead line of advanced fiber-optic video systems for HDTV content production.

Telecast says its CopperHead G2 2400 camera-mounted transceivers deliver full studio capabilities to new HD camcorders installed in WHYY’s studios in Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE, as well as enabling mobile production.

Each studio is equipped with three Sony PDW700 XDCAM HD camcorders, each outfitted with a CopperHead G2 2400 transceiver.
