AXON Keys Up GDK100 Downstream Keyer

AXON Digital Design rolled out its GDK100 dual-background input, 3-gbps, HD and standard-definition downstream keyer for its Synapse modular infrastructure and communications system.

The GDK100 features four triple-rate (SD, HD, 3-gbps) inputs—two background inputs, one fill input, and one key input. The unit also has four triple-rate outputs—two program outputs, one preview output, and one user-definable output (program, preview, or modified key output).

AXON adds that the keyer also boasts adjustable slice level and transparency (with definable modified-key monitor output), preview output for content verification prior to going on-air, and transparency for 16 channels of embedded audio, as well as all ANC data.
