Fox Soccer Plus to Launch on March 1

Fox Soccer Channel’s premium channel, Fox Soccer Plus, will officially launch on March 1. Fox Soccer Plus will air matches from England’s FA Cup, Italy’s Serie A, Barclays Premier League (BPL), and UEFA Champions League, according to Multichannel News.

FSC had sublicensed rights to BPL and Champions League to international sports broadcaster Setanta Sports USA, but those rights will revert to FSC on Feb. 28, and rumors have been swirling that Fox Sports may purchase the fledgling Setanta outright.
