Indy, New Orleans Stations Gear Up for Super Bowl

As the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints prep for the biggest game of the year, stations in both markets are going all-out to cover the event, with nightly specials, Super Bowl tidbits flavoring every newscast, sets—and anchors—done up in the local team’s colors, and real-time updates on Facebook and Twitter.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, nearly every local station in both Indianapolis and New Orleans has sent out an onslaught of staff members to cover the game in Miami, which can create some major logistical hurdles for their day-to-day operations.
