MLB.tv Raises Prices, Adds Enhanced Features for 2010

Major League Baseball Advanced Media will raise the prices for its MLB.tv services for the 2010 season, but also introduce product enhancements, including HD-quality video for all subscribers, rather than just premium members.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, the regular service price for MLBAM’s live streaming video service will be $99.95 (up from $79.95 last season), while the premium service will run users $119.95 for the year (up from $109.95 last season).

In addition to offering HD quality to all subscribers, a fantasy player tracker application has been added as well as a pitch-by-pitch feature that will offer live pitcher-vs.-batter stats for each at bat. Premium subscribers will also have full DVR functionality and the ability to watch up to four games at once.
