NBA Digital To Offer Extensive Multiplatform Coverage of 2010 All-Star Weekend

NBA Digital will provide acces to more than 50 hours of exclusive live programming across NBA TV, NBA.com, and NBA Mobile from this year’s All-Star 2010 weekend in Dallas, TX. NBA.com will offer 12 hours of live streaming coverage from Dallas, while NBA TV will provide 20 hours of content throughout the weekend.

NBA TV kicks off its coverage on Thursday, Feb. 11 with a Slam Dunk Marathon to showcase the past 24 All-Star slam dunk competitions. On Friday, the network will air live coverage of the rookie and sophomore practices for the Rookie Challenge game and announce the finalists for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame live. Saturday’s programming includes All Star East and West practices, the NBA D-League All-Star Game, Commissioner David Stern’s NBA All-Star Press Conference, the NBA Legends Brunch.  On Sunday the NBA Legends Brunch and NBA All-Star Pre-Game Show lead into TNT’s coverage of the main event that evening.

NBA.com will delve deeper with all-access coverage that features Twitter-driven interviews with the All- Stars, player press conferences, and near real-time videos from players and celebrities’ HD pocket video cameras throughout the festivities.

NBA Mobile will also provide coverage throughout the weekend, including the NBA.com All-Star Slam Dunk Live application, which provides viewers with four live camera feeds during Saturday night’s Slam Dunk Competition for $0.99 cents on Android Market and the App Store.
