Vancouver 2010: NBC Ratings Up 28% Through Nine Nights

NBC continues to score big ratings with its coverage of the Vancouver Winter Games, pulling in 26.3 million average viewers through the first nine nights of the coverage. That mark represents a 28% advantage over the 20.6 million for the first nine nights from 2006 Games in Torino, Italy.

The network also easily won the ratings battle Saturday night, averaging a 14.7 rating/24 share in primetime on Feb. 20.  That number was 131% above the combined delivery of 11.5 million watchers for CBS, ABC and Fox and also marks a 30% jump from the 11.3 rating/19 share on the corresponding night of the 2006 Torino Games.
