College and University video professionals who register to attend the College Sports Video Summit, held June 8-9 in Atlanta, are eligible for a free hotel room, but only if they register by this Friday, April 30. The $125 College/University registration fee covers entry to the two-day event, a cocktail reception and networking lunch, five general sessions, three tracks of focused workshops, and two keynote addresses, in addition to the hotel room-night. In addition to five general sessions, our program now offers three focused tracks of workshops. Track 1 focuses on Strategic Partnerships (working with campus TV stations and regional sports networks); Track 2 looks at Cost-Effective Technology Solutions; and Track 3 examines using video for marketing purposes (through Olympic sports, a Web strategy, and archiving).

We will also have a keynote address by Greg Shaheen, Senior Vice President of the NCAA, and an address to open the College Sports Media Awards from Dr. Harvey Schiller, whose credits include VP of sports programming for Turner Broadcasting Systems, president of Turner Sports, and executive director/secretary general of the United States Olympic Committee, as well as commissioner of the Southeastern Conference.
