Polecam has named Vic Godding as its Sales and Marketing Manager. Godding arrives with 18 years of experience in imaging and media and he studied photography to HND level at the University of Westminster before joining Kodak in 1991 as a research and development technician. He progressed in 1999 to technical product specialist with Kodak’s Entertainment Imaging business unit, promoting Kodak film to programme-makers, post-production facilities and distributors as well as providing after-sales support. In 2008 he joined the Sohonet data management and networking agency as account manager, based at the company’s Soho and Pinewood offices.

“We knew the right person for this role was out there somewhere and we are sure we have found him,” comments Polecam founder and Managing Director Steffan Hewitt. “Vic is bright and dynamic with a good understanding both of digital film and mainstream video production. We gave him a test run at NAB 2010. He proved very competent in his dealings with customers and an amiable member of the Polecam team.”

Vic Godding succeeds Mel Noonan who has formed his own marketing organisation following eight successful years with Polecam.
