BroadcastAsia 2010: Masstech To Display Latest Products at Techtel Booth

Masstech Group, which provides workflow solutions, automated ingest, format conversions, archiving, and sharing of digital content across IT storage and networking infrastructures, will present its latest solutions at Broadcast Asia on June 15-18 at the Singapore Expo. The company will spotlight its latest product range including Indigo, Topaz, Sapphire, Cobalt, and Iris on Techtel’s booth #7C4-05.

In addition, Brad Redwood, Masstech’s Vice President APAC-EME, will be presenting a paper to the Broadcast Asia Technical Conference entitled “Building a Digital Bridge from the World of Production to the Broadcast Operation Centre”. The paper outlines the next generation technology to bridge the operations, production, and playout Transmission areas in order to justify technology investments.

“Most MAM systems require a plethora of 3rd party middleware products to provide HSM, transcoding, Partial File Extraction (PFE), Avid and/or Apple FCP interfacing and video server integration,” says Redwood. “With Topaz and Indigo there are no additional costs or reliance on third parties to perform these critical functions. Every license includes all of our capabilities. With unlimited storage licensing and no fees for capacity Masstech have lowered the cost of MAM ownership and made workflows significantly faster than with traditional systems.”
