Comcast’s CSN Bay Area, California Added to DirecTV HD Lineup

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD and Comcast SportsNet California HD are now available 24/7 on DirecTV’s full-time HD channel lineup. Beginning on Wednesday, June 23, CSN Bay Area HD will be located on DirecTV channel 696 and CSN California HD will be on channel 698.

Collectively, the two networks present approximately over 580 HD game telecasts each year featuring the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Earthquakes, as well as select Cal, Stanford, Pac-10 and other college basketball and football games. In addition, CSN Bay Area and CSN California deliver over 2,300 studio and magazine shows annually in HD, such as SportsNet Central, Chronicle Live, Pregame Live and Postgame Live, 49ers Central, G-Mag, All A’s, Shark Byte and Warriors Weekly.
