GlobeCast, NETIA To Present Latest Solutions at SATCON 2010

GlobeCast and NETIA will be present at SATCON 2010 in New York on October 13-14, highlighting their ability to transport, manage, and play content to multiple platforms in multiple regions and to streamline the workflow of media players around the world.

GlobeCast will highlight its geographic and technical expansion, with new satellite capacity and fiber links in the Americas and worldwide. With its subsidiary, NETIA, GlobeCast will also highlight its Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions.

NETIA will focus on its new line of audio and video content life-cycle management and preparation solutions — highlighting the convergence of the broadcasting and telecommunications sectors. NETIA technologies empower multiplatform delivery, growing volumes of on-demand audio and video content, and multiple content formats.

Previewed last month at IBC2010, the two companies’ demonstration will show broadcasters and content creators how to seamlessly integrate their traditional broadcast environment with the latest MAM software. The demo highlights GlobeCast’s ability to transport, manage, and play content throughout the world, helping clients save time and money, and easily send and share content with partners and platforms in multiple regions.
