Adisar Media, Beijing University Purchase Quantel Systems

Adisar Media, a Madrid production company, has chosen Quantel’s eQFX to spearhead the extension of its business into postproduction. The eQ is equipped with the QColor in-context grading option.

Founded in 2002 by David Arribas, Adisar Media specializes in production services for primetime soap operas and TV movies. The eQFX will be the centrepiece of Adisar Media’s finishing and color grading operations, working on productions such as ‘El Barco’ (The Ship), which is slated to be Antena 3TV’s next primetime hit program.

Adisar Media chose eQFX because of its unique combination of editing, effects, grading and versioning tools all in one box, making it a one-stop finishing solution.

Beijing University Brings in Pablo Neo 3D System

Beijing University has purchased a Pablo Neo 3D color correction and finishing system. The Pablo will be used to help develop Stereo3D technology in China.

“Beijing University is a center of excellence for new media technology and its applications,” said Mr Qiu Zhanghong, Director of Digital Media College, Beijing University. “We naturally want to work with the best equipment on the market and Quantel’s Pablo is clearly the world leader in both color and S3D, so it was a simple choice for us.”
