SOS Global Named Freight Logistic Service for Asian Winter Games

SOS Global Express, a worldwide leader in logistics for international sporting events, is pleased to announce that they have signed a contract to provide International Freight Logistics for the Host Broadcaster to the Astana-Almaty 7th Asian Winter Games, International Games Broadcasting Services (IGBS).  The Games will be staged in Kazakhstan from January 30 through February 6, 2011.
SOS Global Express will have a team on the ground in Kazakhstan, supported by their 24/7 offices in the UK and USA.  The scope of the project includes flying over 150 tons of gear and supplies in and out of Kazakhstan, including a chartered 747F. SOS Global will oversee all ‘in country’ needs including Customs, warehousing and all venue deliveries.
The Asian Games, the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games are the world’s largest sporting events and SOS Global has provided International Logistics services to all in the past 12 months.
