CSN Chicago Delivers Highest Bulls Regular-Season Rating to Date

Comcast SportsNet Chicago delivered its highest Bulls regular season game rating ever on December 21, a 5.70 household rating for its live coverage of the Bulls home contest against the Philadelphia 76ers.

For the 121-76 victory by the Bulls, Comcast SportsNet attracted approx. 200,000 households for the entire game and posted a 7.03 peak rating during the 9:00 PM quarter-hour (more than 246,000 households).  The 5.70 single game regular-season ratings record on Comcast SportsNet shatters the previous record set earlier this season on November 16 at Houston (5.51).  Source for all ratings information is provided by Nielsen Media Research overnights.

Comcast SportsNet was also the #1-highest rated television network in the Chicago market for all TV households for the entire length of the game (7:00-9:30 PM), along with being #1 for the entire game in the demos of Men 18-34, Men 18-49 & Adults 18-34.

So far this season, the Bulls on Comcast SportsNet are averaging a 4.09 household rating, a year-to-date increase of 81% compared to last season through 16 telecasts.  In addition, Kia Bulls Post Game Live ratings are up 100% year-to-date.
