NAB 2011: Quantel Offers Cloud-Based Workflow

Quantel will exhibit QTube, a cloud-based media workflow. It extends beyond a broadcast facility’s walls to give instant access to live media with frame-accurate editing from anywhere over the Internet. QTube is intended to allow sports broadcasters to reduce on-site staff and/or equipment requirements at sports events anywhere in the world.

Visitors to the Quantel stand at the NAB Show April 9-14 will also be able to check out the company’s Enterprise sQ broadcast-production system used by sports and news broadcasters. Enterprise sQ is completely scalable from just a few to hundreds of users, with simultaneous access to all media. It is designed to offer the shortest time to air, in addition to superfast versioning for all requirements: broadcast, Web, and mobile. It provides a progressive user interface that is easy to learn and use, covering needs from simple shot selection to sophisticated craft editing.
