WSJ.com has the story of Deb Roy who says it’s possible that he has the world’s largest home-video collection. He’s not talking about a few boxes of VHS tapes in the attic. He’s talking about a quarter million hours of home video. That collection actually helped Roy create Bluefin Labs Inc., a start-up founded in 2008 that aims to analyze what people think via social media about the shows and advertisements they watch on television. The company announced today it raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Redpoint Ventures.
