NBA D-League’s Austin Toros Ramps Up Mobile Marketing with Txtstation

The NBA Development League’s Austin Toros and Txtstation Mobile Marketing have announced a one-year mobile marketing partnership. Toros fans will be able to interact with the team in-arena via their mobile phones and in turn, the Toros will encourage participants to join their mobile text club.

Txtstation will use its proprietary technology to produce real-time, interactive HD graphics for games at the Cedar Park Center.  Fans will be able to cast their vote on live polls and participate in picture and text to screen features. Toros fans can also remain in direct contact with the team by signing up for text alerts.

“The Toros are always glad to work with a local partner and a leader in mobile, with our new move to the Cedar Park Center, we wanted a partner that could take advantage of the HD video boards and also give us great local support.” Says Peter Lubell, COO of the Austin Toros.
