NAB 2011: GlobeCast, NETIA Team Up on Content Management

GlobeCast and NETIA will be co-exhibiting once more, highlighting the ability of broadcasters to ingest content locally, manage their media, and play out content in several regions of the world. The main tool for this is the Content Management System (CMS). NETIA’s CMS allows customers to globally streamline all of their production processes with easy-to-manage workflows and task automation. The new software suite also allows users to connect all of their partners and vendors within a single production ecosystem, simplifying the sharing and managing of media assets. The new Web-based interface, built on Silverlight technology, allows more performance and greater security. The booth will also feature live demos and animations that speak to the needs of international broadcasters today, giving them the chance to learn about satellite and fiber delivery of their channels around the world.
