NAB 2011: Clear-Com To Intro Wireless Intercom for 900 MHz

Clear-Com, a provider of voice communication systems, will introduce the Tempest900 digital wireless intercom at the 2011 NAB Show. It operates in the 902-928 MHz frequency band (approved for use in North America). The 900 MHz frequency has the ability to potentially penetrate walls and other structures, increasing the range for users.

Tempest900 comes in two-channel and four-channel versions and features the same menu structures and operation as the Tempest2400, including the ability to operate in Normal, Split, and Shared Modes.

A total of five Tempest900 BaseStations and 25 Tempest full-duplex wireless BeltStations can be operated in close proximity while maintaining excellent system performance. A total of 10 Tempest2400 BaseStations can also be used at the same time and in the same RF area, for a total of 15 Tempest systems for large-scale operations.
