NAB 2011: Microsoft To Highlight Content and Business Management

Microsoft will have an extensive presence at the NAB Show next month, with a booth that focuses on three primary themes: digital-content management, media-business management, and digital experiences.

Digital-content management involves digital-asset management and collaboration; metadata search, archive, and SOA workflow; and news-creation and editorial collaboration. On the media-business-management front, Microsoft will feature broadcast management and sales; CRM, xRM, and ad-sales management; and business intelligence/analytics for media. Microsoft will also highlight its latest products in Web video and over-the-top video; three-screen delivery; and media portals, commerce, monetization, and digital marketing. The company will be joined at its booth by a number of partners demonstrating their solutions in the major areas of focus.

Microsoft will also showcase its latest innovative technologies, including KINECT and Surface. In addition, there will be a living-room area showing off the latest in connected-home technologies.
