NAB 2011: EVS To Highlight Fast-Turnaround Production

EVS will focus on its latest solutions for fast-turnaround production at the NAB Show in April: a new line of production and media-storage servers, enhanced production and advanced content-management tools, and a new live sport-production system with the latest graphics and live 3D-editing tools. The EVS-OpenCube line of MXF-based servers for tape ingest and workflow digitization will be on display and available for demonstration.

Fast Turnaround TV Production, the latest version of the company’s IPDirector video- and audio-management software suite, integrates extended features for live editing in HD and 3D. A pioneering API and MOS gateway interface ensures full interoperability with all types of infrastructure systems. The Tape Ingest and MXF tools from OpenCube will introduce ENGSoft for importing ENG Sony XDCAM and Panasonic P2 files and associated metadata to the Avid editing environment.
