NAB 2011: MultiDyne To Deliver Three New Products
Among MultiDyne’s three products slated to be introduced at the NAB Show in April is one poised to create quite a buzz. SilverBack is a camera-back fiber transport system that mounts on a camera, fitting snugly between the camera and the battery. The shoulder-mounted system is ultra portable, designed specifically to be used for sports and ENG. The affordable camera-mounted fiber-optic transport device can carry camera signals as well as intercom for the operator, without the need for a black box on the floor.
Also new at MultiDyne’s NAB booth will be the HD3200 fiber-optic transport link for POV cameras. Just about every sporting event relies on POV cameras for image capture, and the HD3200 will allow users to bring back HD video and two-way data control for both camera control and POV control.
MultiDyne’s third NAB debut will be the LiGHTBoX 2, the next generation of the LiGHTBoX field fiber transport system. The 2011 version features improved power management, improved packaging, and the ability to remotely monitor the general health of the device.
