TV News Technophiles: Local News Anchors and Reporters are Embracing iPads, Smartphones

TwinCities.com reports that most who see TV-news anchor Vineeta Sawkar on KSTP miss what is resting before her on the desk.

While most anchors shuffle stacks of paper scripts, Sawkar pulls up information on an iPad. The Apple tablet is a bit hard to spot, sheathed in its black case and angled toward her so the glowing screen isn’t visible to viewers.
