NAC Integrates Hi-Motion II with EVS Multicam LSM, Taps Ikegami as Distributor

NAC Image Technology has announced two major deals involving its Hi-Motion II Ultra Slow Motion Camera Systems. NAC has expanded its technical partnership with EVS, resulting in the full integration of the Hi-Motion II with the industry-standard EVS Multicam LSM. In addition, NAC has named Ikegami as its worldwide distributor for the Hi-Motion II.

The expanded partnership with EVS has resulted in technological advances allowing the Hi-Motion II to mirror the operation of a standard HDTV broadcast camera, allowing the sports broadcaster to exactly match the workflow for the Hi-Motion II to that of the standard sports broadcast environment.

“We are extremely happy to be working closely with a world renowned company like EVS,” says Mr. Kenichi Ueki, President of NAC Image Technology.  “We’ve been fortunate to be able work with strong partners like EVS and, with the help of partners like EVS, NAC’s ultra slow motion camera systems have been embraced by broadcasters for live coverage of the World Cup events in Germany and South Africa, the Olympic Games in Beijing and Vancouver, and a variety of professional sporting events, including international motor racing, cycling, tennis, football, baseball, rugby, cricket, golf, boxing and horse racing.”

Ikegami will now serve as distributor for the Hi-Motion II in Asia, Europe, North America, Central America and South America.

“We are delighted to be represented in the Asia, Europe and the Americas by Ikegami Electronics,” says Ueki.  “In addition to its knowledgeable sales group, NAC’s Hi-Motion II Ultra Slow Motion Camera Systems will benefit from Ikegami’s strong technical support through its region-wide service centers.  Customers for the NAC Hi-Motion II will see the direct benefit of this high quality sales and service team.”
