Napa Valley College Set to Pull Plug on its TV Engineering Technology Program

TimesHeraldonline.com reports that the signal is about to fade for the Napa Valley College Broadcast Television Engineering Technology program which has prompted supporters to rally to its defense, though it could be too late, officials said.
More than two months after the college board voted to eliminate the vocational education program, alumni and broadcast television professionals have launched a letter-writing campaign to try to save it.
The program is too valuable to lose, Society for Broadcasting Engineers Chapter 40 Secretary Dane Ericksen said from his San Francisco office.
