Lehigh University Seeks Production Manager, Multimedia

Lehigh University Athletics (NCAA Division I, Patriot League) in Bethlehem, PA, seeks a highly-motivated and passionate individual for its Production Management position in the Multimedia/New Media area. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of the broadcast & multimedia office, particularly in areas related to the production of on-line video segments and live television and Internet broadcasts, as well as the department’s archiving system.
The individual must possess strong organizational skills along with a sound knowledge of collegiate athletics. Duties include, but are not limited to: directing pre- and post-production for feature stories and other exclusive web-only content; scheduling and creating regular content for the Lehigh Athletics official web site and podcast channel; recruiting, scheduling, and supervising student staff for 150+ Internet broadcasts; production of Lehigh’s weekly television show; shooting and editing B-roll for web and television features; archiving of video and audio content; compiling and maintaining various databases; assisting with day-to-day office and game-day operations; and other duties as assigned. Athletics Department personnel work a non-traditional schedule often including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, and some travel is involved.
Qualifications include one to three years related work experience; a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field; excellent interpersonal, computer, communication and organizational skills; knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut, linear audio editing platforms, and Adobe Photoshop. Broadcast experience is a plus, but is not required.
