Spiers Joins Chyron as Senior National Account Executive

Brian Spears has been named senior national account executive with Chyron’s North American sales team. He brings a diverse sales background, having earlier held sales-management positions with Tektronix, Grass Valley, and Digital Broadcast.

“Brian will offer unique insights into strategic selling, business development, strategic account planning, and key account management,” says Bruce Levine, VP of North American sales at Chyron. “With more than two decades of industry experience, Brian has excelled in hardware, software, and system sales and has also spent considerable time identifying enterprise-level opportunities and building strategic approaches to a wide variety of clients.”

Spiers joins Chyron after serving as VP of sales, North America, at Digital Broadcast. While there, he helped design a variety of sales initiatives specifically tailored to broadcast and media groups with a specific emphasis on sales trends, best practices, and ROI metrics. He led similar initiatives while earlier serving as regional sales director for the central U.S. and Canada at Grass Valley. Spiers also served as national sales manager, Canada, for Tektronix.

He earned his MBA with a specialization in digital-technologies management at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.
